Tiny particles are a big deal in the latest ruling in Europe, according to reports. Products containing nanotechnology there will have to be tested for safety, as per the European Parliament’s new ruling. The guidelines will go into effect as of 2012

The EU voted 633-29 on March 24 to pass the new rules. Presently, it requires some testing on products, but the new laws will focus on special checks concerning nanotechnology features in cosmetics.
